February is Black History Month, and CVD invites you to a compelling community event – a special screening of Aftershock, the critically acclaimed documentary. This film dives deep into the maternal health crisis in America, exploring the lives of families devastated by preventable deaths in childbirth and the activists fighting for systemic change. Aftershock sheds light on the disparities faced by Black and Brown communities and the urgent need for equitable birth and reproductive health care.
